Join us for an intimate seated tasting of our current wine selection.  While you taste with us, we encourage open conversation as we discuss our story, philosophy, and winemaking process.  We believe wine is for everyone, and a tasting should be an enjoyable experience, no matter your experience level.  Our tastings include an interactive education portion focusing on making wine more approachable that changes each month.  To respect your time with us, we limit our tastings to 8 guests per tasting and have spaced our tastings to start every 90 minutes.  Due to our limited seating area, if you plan on attending with children, non-tasters, or designated drivers, please contact us directly at info@pebblerockcellars.wine or 830-385-2110 to make your reservation so we can guarantee seats for everyone in your party at no extra cost.

Hill Country vs High Plains Tasting

Have you ever wondered why winemakers care about where the grapes are grown? In this educational tasting, we will explore the influence of two distinct growing regions: the Texas Hill Country and the Texas High Plains.

We’ll taste Aglianico, Mourvèdre, and Sangiovese grown in both regions, allowing you to experience how the same varieties can express themselves differently depending on their growing environment. Along the way, we’ll consider the role that climate, elevation, soil, and other vineyard conditions play in shaping aroma, flavor, and overall character.

Join us as we explore the connection between place and wine, and discover just how much a sense of place can influence what ends up in your glass.
